The Nottingham Centre for Carbon Capture and Storage (NCCCS) is a joint collaboration between the University of Nottingham and the British Geological Survey. NCCCS undertakes research and training in all aspects of CCS from capturing the CO2 at point source, through to transport, injection and storage of the CO2 in the deep subsurface. We also undertake monitoring at injection sites, public perception studies, as well as research into more novel CO2 capture and storage technologies, such as mineral carbonation.
