Editing with DaVinci Resolve - Syntex & Blackmagic Design

Move between edit, color correction, visual effects and audio post production with a single click, so you can complete your project faster without having to move between different applications.

Download DaVinci Resolve for free from the Blackmagic Design web site and sign up for a class that best suits your experience of using DaVinci Resolve for editing.

Each class is hosted by a DaVinci Resolve Certified Trainer in English. You can follow the training using your own computer hardware. Joining instructions and links to download the training media will be provided when you register.

Introduction to editing with DaVinci Resolve (2 hours online)

Learn how to import media, build a timeline by inserting, overwriting and appending media files. Trim and adjust video and audio, set levels and add effects. Make primary and secondary colour correction using the 3D tracking tools!

Advanced editing with DaVinci Resolve (2 hours online)

Conform projects from other applications, use metadata, custom timelines and color management. Advanced trimming tools and shortcuts for faster editing. Create motion graphics and mix audio with Fusion and Fairlight.

Registration

Please click ‘Register’ to view the available online training classes. Choose your preferred session option and complete the necessary fields on the registration page.

Preparation for Online Training

Once your registration has been confirmed you will receive an ‘Event Ticket’. Your electronic Event Ticket contains information, links and instructions on how to prepare for the training class along with how to join on the day.

If a session is fully subscribed please email the support email below to be added to a waitlist. You will be contact if additional spaces or dates are made available.

There are 3 steps to follow

1. Download DaVinci Resolve for FREE from the Blackmagic Design web site and install this on your computer

2. Download the Training Media Files from the link provided

3. Join the Online Training Class 15 minutes before the registered start time using the unique class link provided

If you are no longer able to attend the class, please provide as much cancellation notice as possible so we can fill your space with other people wanting to attend.
