Apprentice Bios:

Align

Hi! My name is Louie and I am 17. I am currently working for ALIGN JV on the HS2 project as a Health, Safety and Wellbeing Apprentice. I have been on the project for just over 4 months. I really enjoy working with industry leading professionals on such an impressive and well-known project, and no day ever is the same. I am currently finishing a L3 Business Administration qualification (that I started in a previous company) that supports my day to day role, and look forward to moving onto a higher Health and Safety qualification in the upcoming months.

Ella Greenwood I’m 16 years old working at ALIGN for just over 4 months now and have recently started my level 4 civil engineering qualification which I am enjoying massively as I learn so much and get a lot of experience while I earn and learn, I feel at the end of my course I will have so much knowledge to carry on my career in this industry.

Cisco

Hi, I’m Julia and I’m 19 years old, and I have been working at Cisco for almost a year as a Cross Functional Apprentice. I’m currently doing my BSc Digital & Technology Solutions Degree after recently finishing my Level 3 BTEC Extended Diploma in IT (software development), achieving a triple distinction star in college. I decided to be an apprentice to get more hands-on experience when it comes to software development because that’s how I learn the best. I’m enjoying being able to do what I love and what I’m passionate about as I have learned so much and have been given so many opportunities, that have allowed me to gain useful experience in the industry and have allowed me to grow. I’m looking forward to the future and the new experience ahead to build a long-term career in the Tech industry.

Hi I’m Hamzah, I am 20 years old and have been working at Cisco as a Cross Functional Apprentice for 6 months. I am currently studying for my CCNA networking qualification, my degree in Digital and Technological Solutions as well as working within the Webex Collaboration team at Cisco. I decided to become an apprentice following a gap year after college. Working for Apple in their retail store gave me a passion of working in the tech industry, alongside continuing my higher education.

Morgan: I am 18 years old and have been an cross functional degree apprentice at Cisco 7 months. During this time I have been working as a systems engineer and have been able to obtain industry recognised certifications such as my CCNA that will prepare me for a feature career in Tech

Regan: I am 22 years old and I’m currently 7 months into a Degree Apprenticeship with Cisco working towards a BSc in Digital and Technology Solutions, and have recently acquired my CCNA certification. It’s immensely beneficial to be able to apply my learning into a work environment, and earning as I do so is a much more sustainable way to reach my career goals in the Tech Industry.

Sodexo

Bianca Domuta - Bianca is from Romania and has no formal school qualifications but completed Maths and English to level 3 equivalent. She commenced as Apprentice Chef at RAF Halton in May 2019 and started to learn her kitchen skills. She proved to be a quick learner and commenced Chef de Partie level 3 apprenticeship which she has completed and is now moving to level 4 in Hospitality Management. Bianca is now leading a team of chefs and running a kitchen.

Zenopa

Hi I’m Bradley, I am 21 years old and have been working at Zenopa Recruitment for almost 1 Year and 6 Months. I have recently completed the first year of my digital marketing university course at London South Bank. Throughout my experience at Zenopa, I have been able to learn, while earning a salary to save for my life goals. Also, I am gaining 3 years work experience, which will put me in a great position when I finish my apprenticeship, as oppose to those who just went to university and studied the same course. My degree apprenticeship will provide me with the knowledge, education and skills to advance my career as a marketeer.

Hi I’m Albert, I am 20 years old and have been working as a recruitment consultant in Zenopa’s service engineering team for almost 2 ½ years. Alongside this, I am studying at the University of West London on their Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship (CMDA) programme which grants me a BA (Hons) Business Studies degree as well as Chartered Manager Status with the Chartered Manager Institute. The opportunity to further my education whilst gaining valuable work experience was something that seemed too good to pass up. The fact I am being paid is the cherry on top!
