Central South Hampshire Branch
would like to invite you to join them for their next monthly breakfast
with guest presentation from
David Pollard entitled Apprenticeships
Apprenticeships are very popular with small businesses, over half of apprenticeships are now in small businesses. They are an effective way to grow your own staff, bring new knowledge and perspectives into your business and can even be part of your retirement planning! Apprenticeships are changing as the government implements the changes recommended by Ex Dragon Doug Richard. Traineeships are a new government programme to help young people make the transition from education to work, they can be an effective way for small businesses to get experience of having a young person in their business without commitment.
David will explain how apprenticeships and traineeships work, the benefits they offer to small businesses and how apprenticeships will change under the government's reforms.
This presentation will be followed by a full English breakfast and ample opportunity to network.
The event is open to FSB members and non members/guests.
