As Total Warrior ventures into Scotland for the first time, where else to head but its capital, Edinburgh. We’re taking you a short hop, skip and a jump (or 30mins by train if you prefer to save your energy – you’ll need it!) from the city centre to the picturesque seaside harbour town of North Berwick.

North Berwick boasts an explosive past and our course provides a reminder of that, set in the shadow of a great lump of volcanic rock called North Berwick Law. The course centres around two lakes and a vertical, 20m-high crag called Balgone Heughs, so hills and water are in plentiful supply. The normally tranquil lakes are surrounded by fantastic but very, very muddy woodland trails, which combine with rugged, open farmland to make a truly outstanding autumn event experience – and that’s before we even start building our 30 punishing obstacles! Prepare to be tested, soaked, and muddied to your limits over a brutal 12 kilometre course.
