25th Polar Libraries Colloquy
Monday, 30 June 2014 at 09:00 - Friday, 4 July 2014 at 20:00 (BST)
The 25th Polar Libraries Colloquy will be held in Cambridge, UK, co-hosted by the Scott Polar Research Institute (SPRI) and the British Antarctic Survey (BAS). This is the third time the PLC has been in Cambridge - previous meetings were in 1973 and 1994 - and we're looking forward to welcoming you all back.
The Colloquy will take place from Monday 30 June to Thursday 3 July, with a trip to visit institutions in London on Friday 4 July. (There will also be a social gathering on Sunday 29 for early arrivals.)
The conference website can be found at http://plc2014.wordpress.com/. On the website, you will find information on Cambridge, accommodation and transport, as well as an outline of the conference. As the Colloquy approaches, we will update the website with other pertinent information.
We offer two types of ticket - the full ticket will cover all four days of the conference, plus travel in Cambridge and the trip to London. Individual membership of the Colloquy itself is also included in the fee.
For local attendees who would like to drop in for a single day, a day rate is also available.
Refreshments during the sessions are provided, but evening meals are not covered in the cost. Accomodation can be booked seperately.
The conference dinner itself is also ticketed seperately, at a cost of £55/person. Please make sure to select a ticket for this if you wish to attend the dinner!
