Bright Futures Enterprise and UnITe Computing have partnered to host a fabulous evening of enterprise and networking. The event will also feature Mahamed Awale from BBC Young Apprentice 2011 promoting his new business The Singers Network!
Mahamed Awale's business The Singers Network enables upcoming artists to be heard and be promoted online, socially and within the music industry. He and his business partner, Ozgur Mehnet say:
'Through the buisness we aim to promote artists through several methods, including but not limited to, New Media, Radio and TV exposure as well as web and portfolio development. This work is then submitted to the 4 major labels as well as 450 independent record labels respectively.'
During the 4 hour boat cruise you will have the oppotunity to network with more than 100 entreprenuers, take part in business competitions and having fun!
On arrival you will be offered a reception drink.

Speakers - giving advice on how young entrepreneurs get started, and how they carry on!
Jacob Kent-Ledger (www.kentledger.in & www.beatscene.fm) - "Jacob Kent-Ledger, aged 17 is the managing director of KentLedger Group International. Starting his business less than a year ago and juggling it with 4 A-Levels and the role of a prefect, Jacob has expanded his horizons massively seeking and gaining several business opportunities and working up to being known in the entrepreneurial society. His main business is KentLedger Design which provides professional, on budget, sleek and hassle free design services to the likes of BBC actress Laila Rouass, several Apprentice candidates as well as major firms, startups and charity organisations."
Will Roberts, aged 17, started his business journey aged 14 when he bought 100 iPod cases for £12.50 which he sold at school. From there he became an eBay seller before moving on to an ecommerce store, finally ending up in affiliate marketing via wholesale. Today, he balances finishing his final year of school with working in central London for an international voucher code network; commuting 3 times a week. He was offered the job in unique circumstances and didn’t even have a CV. His main responsibility is the SEO for 2 newly launched websites, one in the Canada with the other one being in Australia but is currently working on more focused projects for the UK site.
