Dover District Council is pleased to hold an event surrounding funding and governance again, but this year we are offering you the chance to book in a slot with your chosen funder to discuss your project and answer any funding questions you may have.

Funding For All

Providing free, expert fundraising advice to small charities, voluntary organisations, community groups and social enterprises.

With information on bid/grant application writing and finding and finding which funder is right for you.

The National Lottery - Community Fund

Reaching Communities offers funding (over £10,000) for organisations that work with their community, whether that is for people living in the same area, or people with similar interests or life experiences. If you are interested in applying for Reaching Communities, Andy Smith a Funding Officer from the National Lottery Community fund, will be here to answer your questions.

Governance Advice

We will also have members of the Community Services Team at Dover District Council and Aly Young Law on hand to help with general governance advice to those that are already existing and have questions, or new groups that need to know where to start!

Appointments

20-minute slots are available to book with the funder of your choice, or for governance advice, book your ticket and arrive between 5pm & 7pm and a member of the team will be able to help.

Parking is available on site along with light refreshments.
