Description
Phil Mickelson and Henrik Stenson will this year renew rivalries in the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open at Castle Stuart Golf Links, where the popular American took the title in 2013 before lifting the Claret Jug the following week.
Five-time Major Champion Mickelson, World Number Five Stenson and former winner Graeme McDowell are among the star names so far confirmed for the 34th edition of Scotland’s national Open, which returns to the stunning Inverness venue from July 7-10, 2016.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Castle Stuart Golf Links enjoys a very accessible location, easy to find with a number of transport links available, parking for the event is free of charge and onsite at venue

By Road
Castle Stuart Golf Club is located adjacent to the A96 between Inverness and Nairn. Road users should follow the ‘Scottish Open Golf’ AA signs which will direct drivers to the correct car parks. Those using Satellite Navigation systems are urged to follow the AA signs as specific routes for event traffic will differ from the roads used for every day visits to the venue
By Air
Castle Stuart is situated less than two miles from Inverness Airport and only seven miles from the City of Inverness, the capital of the Highlands. During the event, the airport will be serviced by a number of different airlines including: British Airways, KLM, Flybe, easyjet, Lufthansa and Helvetic/Falcontravel
By Rail
Castle Stuart is seven miles from the railway station in Inverness. There are direct daily services from most major cities in the UK. Train timetables and other information can be found by clicking www.nationalrail.co.uk
Taxi
Taxis will be directed to a taxi drop-off / pick up point in the public car park. Taxis will also be available to collect spectators from the tournament
Bus
Coaches from Inverness City Centre there will be a coach services from the Railway Station out to Castle Stuart, timetable to be advised
Disabled facilities
Car parking: Designated area in front of the Public Car Park for blue badge holders, adjacent to the entrance tent
Viewing on the course: A designated viewing area will be available for wheelchair users on the 18th hole
Access to tents: All public facilities may be accessed via ramps
Toilets: There will be disabled toilets located within the tented village.
Use of buggies / scooters: Shopmobility will be renting scooters from the entrance to the tented village. To pre-book please call 01463 717 624 or email ivshopmo@talktalkbusiness.net
Those who do use scooters do so entirely at their own risk. Scooters will not be allowed on the lower section of the golf course, due to the severe incline on the route to this section of the course. Users will be issued with a guide map of the venue which identifies suitable routes for scooter users.
What can I eat and drink?
The Food Court in the Tented Village will serve a variety of food options including sandwiches, pasties, burgers and there will be mobile catering vans offering fish and chips, coffees, waffles and ice Cream
On course there are further catering areas at the 14th tee and the 8th hole where a variety of food and drink offerings will be available

What can/can't I bring to the event?

No picnics / picnic hampers allowed
The use of mobile phones is permitted but restricted to dedicated areas only, where event signage will refer to them as “mobile phone zones”. Only in these dedicated areas can calls be made or received, however
phones must remain on silent at all times.
The use of any cameras, computers and other electronic equipment at the Tournament Thursday to Sunday is not permitted other than with the proper accreditation.Cameras are allowed during the Pro Ams on Wednesday.
Making or distributing broadcasts, commentary, news reports, data, results or statistics by any means
in any format or media including any such by mobile phone or other wireless device is not permitted.
Ticket holders consent to being photographed, filmed and recorded at the Tournament (including by
CCTV), and consent to use of any such film, image or recording at the discretion of the promoter and/
or European Tour and their licensees and partners without compensation or notice.
No dogs (other than guide dogs) or other animals are permitted on the course.
All promotional, commercial, political, religious or offensive items of whatever nature including, but
not limited to, clothing, banners, signs, symbols and leaflets are prohibited.
The ticket holder must comply with all relevant statutes, signs, safety announcements, directions of
stewards and ground regulations whilst attending the Tournament. Breach of any of these conditions
or any unacceptable behaviour likely to cause damage, nuisance or injury shall enable the venue or
event management to revoke this ticket and to eject the holder without compensation.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Tickets are non transferable. Any transfer of this ticket will render it void.
The ticket remains the property of the Tournament at all times.
Can I update my registration information?
You can update registration prior to arrivable at venue
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Printed tickets must be brought to the venue. Lost, stolen or damaged tickets cannot be replaced
What is the refund policy?
Tickets are non refundable including in the event of curtailment or cancellation through adverse weather.
