Amersham & Wycombe College

Amersham & Wycombe College offer a wide range of full and part-time courses, covering a variety of subjects including Music, Fashion, Photography, Health and Social Care, Sport, Media, Business and IT.  We also offer Apprenticeships, which are a ideal for young people who would like to learn and earn at the same time.

Students can chose from a number of different levels, with qualifications from Level 1 to Level 5 on offer.  The BTEC Level 3 is an ideal vocational alternative to A Levels and is universally recognised by Universities should a student desire to follow a higher education path.  The College also offers its own range of higher education courses (including HNCs, HNDs and Foundation Degrees) which cost significantly less than University fees.  In Media and e-Media in particular, College facilities outshine most universities, with a dedicated motion capture suite and green screen rooms.

Year 11 students who were born  after 1996 are now required to stay in learning until they are 18 but can choose to study at College amongst their options should they wish.  The specialist facilities at Amersham & Wycombe College, its strong links with industry, its growing Apprenticeship scheme and overall specialist facilities which local schools will find hard to match, are making the College a popular destination for hundreds of students each year who are looking for a more independent way of learning.
