Who is Purple Door?
Purple Door combine expert knowledge and advice in:
Purple Door provide careers information, advice and guidance; Purple Door Recruitment service; Purple Door volunteering opportunities and a programme of career-related events for students and graduates.
Purple Door works with a number of employers to promote graduate opportunities to recruit University of Portsmouth students for volunteering and work experience roles and to place graduates into full-time employment.
We work closely with faculties to support and deliver Career Management Skills modules and disseminate the results of the Destinations of Leavers from Higher Education (DLHE) survey.

Whether you are currently studying at the University of Portsmouth or you have graduated within the past five years, we are able to help you with your career planning.
How can you access careers, recruitment, volunteering and enterprise services?
Purple Door have an open information centre where you can come in use the computers and work areas to research your career options and a careers advisor it always on offer to help.
We also offer an ‘E-Guidance’ service to all students and graduates in which Careers Advisers will answer careers-related questions by email, and also a ‘Just Ask’ email service in which we will respond to 'quick queries' and information requests.
