Miri Thomas biog:  Miri Thomas is editorial director of Direct Commerce, the UK’s leading publication for the catalogue, online and multichannel commerce sector. She is responsible for overseeing the magazine’s editorial direction and more than 10 years’ experience covering the offline and online distance-selling market. 

Fraser Davidson, CTO, Javelin Group
Fraser Davidson is CTO and director of the Technology practice at Javelin Group, Europe's leading ecommerce and omni-channel retail consultancy and systems integrator. Javelin Group advises retailers and brands on ecommerce and omni-channel strategies, operations and technologies, and implements ecommerce solutions. The Technology practice is responsible for the development of world-class ecommerce and mobile solutions for leading retailers and brands across the globe. Javelin Group clients include all of the top 10 UK retailers and many leading retailers and brands across Europe, with recent projects completed for ASOS, Waitrose, Debenhams, Lakeland and Mothercare/ELC.
Prior to joining Javelin Group, Fraser spent over 20 years at IBM working across most solution areas and industry segments, with recent appointments including director and head of the Retail & Distribution Industry for northern Europe and vice president of IBM's Software Business in the same geography. Fraser spent 10 years as a member of the IBM senior leadership team and has worked with many of the largest companies in Europe including most of the UK's leading retailers.

Jane Dixon, Strategic Consultant, Responsys
Jane Dixon joined the Responsys team in January 2011 as a strategic consultant. Jane’s role involves providing brands with strategic counsel on the cross-channel marketing lifecycle via digital channels. Jane has extensive experience in the extraction and intelligent application of data to drive cross-channel customer lifecycle management. Prior to joining Responsys, Jane held several marketing roles at Scotts of Stow, Omniture and the BBC.

Simon Kemp, Sales Director, SLI Systems
Simon joined SLI Systems in June 2012 bringing 25 years of experience in technology and 6 of those years in eCommerce Search and Merchandising Solutions. Prior to SLI Simon was the Business Development Director for Mercado (acquired by Omniture and now Adobe) and more recently UK Country Manager for Compario. Having worked with many leading Retailers, Simon has a deep and wide knowledge of the sector and how technology has helped eCommerce to become the significant channel that it is today
 
Ava Aprin, Director of Business Development,  Certona 
Ava joined Certona in 2010, leading strategic development of Certona's partnerships with technology and services companies throughout the eCommerce ecosystem. Ava is dedicated to creating mutually beneficial relationships that bring value to Certona’s clients and partners, providing more personalised experiences for our mutual customers.  Prior to joining Certona, Ava has held a number of senior positions in the technology and interior design industries, previously running her own business.


Olivier Martin, E-commerce Merchandiser, Pentland brands, La Chaussure LACOSTE
Olivier Martin joined La chaussure Lacoste in 2010 to develop the merchandising function of the official Lacoste e-shops in Europe. With + 5 years’ experience in online merchandising, Olivier’s focus is to improve onsite customer experience and product catalogue performance to leverage conversion rate. Prior to joining Lacoste, Olivier was online merchandising manager at Universal Music group.
