Description

Explore one of the world’s finest collections of Old Master paintings at this morning class with Guardian art critic Jonathan Jones

Established more than 200 years ago, Dulwich Picture Gallery was the world’s first purpose-built public art gallery. Since 1811, it has housed a world-class collection of Old Master paintings by great artists such as Rembrandt, Gainsborough and Canaletto.

During this intimate class, Guardian art critic Jonathan Jones will guide a small group of people around the Dulwich Picture Gallery, offering insights and background into some of his favourite paintings. Over the course of the morning, there’ll be plenty of opportunities to chat with Jonathan and ask any questions you might have about art.

Suitable for beginners or those who want to deepen their understanding of art, the class is a unique opportunity to explore one of the world’s finest collections with one of the UK’s most passionate art critics.
