Join us at the popular Sunday Brunch Club Art Lovers Group. We usually meet on the first Sunday of each month.
Enjoy a leisurely Sunday afternoon visiting a gallery, seeing an exhibition and then enjoying coffee and cafe in the gallery cafe.
This month we're having a second outing to a see a different type of exhibition. After being captivated by The Heart of the Great Alone exhibition of remarkable photographs from Scott and Shackleton's antarctic expeditions, we were keen to visit this display at the National Library of Scotland
Scott's Last Expedition
"We commemorate the men of the British National Antarctic Expedition of 1910-1913 in our first treasures display in 2012.
Diary extracts, letters, books, postcards and maps are on show to help us tell one of the great stories of achievement, tragedy, endurance and courage.
Led by Captain Robert Falcon Scott, the expedition found itself in a race with Norwegian explorer Roald Amundsen to reach the South Pole"
6pm in the Main Foyer of the National Library of Scotland near the information desk.
Katie and Sarah will be there to meet you.
