A.SPIRE General Assembly 2015

We regret to announce that we have to postpone our General Assembly.

In the last days, we have been monitoring the registration rate. Given various recent company restrictions towards Brussels trips, we have noticed that the current registration number would not allow us to have the quorum legally needed to host our General Assembly on the 14 December. As per our statutes, the “General Assembly is competent to pass resolutions if at least half of the Members are present or represented”.

Low attendance has also been noticed for a series of workshops and conferences organised by the European institutions as well as our sister PPPs and others.

However, we would like to address our exciting reporting programme and the needed statutory decisions to the General Assembly as soon as possible. Therefore, we propose to postpone the meeting to early 2016 (January or latest February).

We sincerely hope everyone understands and accepts our deepest apologies for this, especially those of you who registered to come.

We will come back to you as soon as possible with a new date.
