London's original "underground dining" experience, The Underground Supper Club will be host an intimate group of diners in one of London's unique and exclusive venues, a historic, decommissioned 1967 Victoria Line tube carriage. You will taste new culinary creations and become friends with strangers all with a passion for good food like you.

Diners will enjoy a 6-7 course tasting menu, of course including the Basement Galley tradmark fizzy G&T jelly.

In the spirit of London Underground’s 150th Anniversary, we continue our partnership with the award-winning Walthamstow Pumphouse Transport Museum to host our flagship supperclub in an old tube carriage. However, this is not any tube carriage, it is one of the first to have speeded up and down the Victoria Line between Brixton and Walthamstow, dating from 1967.
Since the Basement Galley is a Brixton original, we are particularly excited about this exclusive opportunity and look forward to welcoming you at the northern end fo the Victoria Line.
THE UNDERGROUND SUPPER CLUB
Basement Galley started as a supper club in a flat in Brixton when Alex (now head chef) and Tom (now finance director) ran out of money and wanted to have a dinner party.
Now a company in its own right Basement Galley is now a multi-location hive of stunning tastes and social interaction, hosting our flagship dining experience, the Underground Supper Club, in a decommissioned Victoria Line carriage.
We are passionate about serving amazing food and giving people the opportunity to enlarge their personal and business networks. We carefully place people around the dinnertable so that you are equally as likely to have fun talking to people you came with, or strangers who came alone.

Is there a dress code?
We want you to feel comfortable. Some people like to dress up a bit but others choose the t-shirt and jeans options. We just want you to enjoy your evening!
Is this a BYOB event?
Please bring your choice of beverage either alcoholic or not. You are free to share this with other diners or keep it to yourself.
Will I be sitting next to people I know?
We will always seat people who book together close to each other.
However, we want guest to get to know new people they would not normally meet, so the person immediately to your right and left will be a stranger (but not for long!). As a result of this 'policy' guests have met their future spouses or a new employer - you never know who will be next to you!
Do you cater for special dietary requirements?
Yes, we do!
We want as many people to enjoy our food as possible. In the booking form you will be asked for each guest's name and specific dietary requirements. Please note: unless we know in advance about any dietary needs we may not be able to provide on the night as cooking and storage facilities are very limited at the venue.
