BBC Children in Need Funding Workshop

BBC Children in Need awards grants each year to organisations supporting disadvantaged children and young people in the UK.

There are two grants programmes:

The Main Grants programme is open to charities and not-for-profit organisations applying for grants over £10,000 per year for up to three years. 

The small grants programme is for any amount up to £10,000 for one year.


To help groups access this funding HAVS are hosting a funding workshop on:

19th September 2014

at Key House, Yiewsley


 Join us for this informative session with lunch provided!


Agenda:

10.00am -10.30am        Coffee and introductions

10.30am -11.00am        Talk about what makes a strong funding bid and what funders like                                          to see in subsequent monitoring reports

11.00am -12noon           Q&A session / individual discussions

12noon                            Lunch & networking

Hillingdon Advice for Residents Partnership (HARP) is a new partnership project within Hillingdon which has brought together seven organisations (Hillingdon Volunteer Centre, Age UK Hillingdon,  Hillingdon Carers, DASH, Hillingdon CAB, MIND and Hillingdon Women’s Centre) with the aim that advice organisations work effectively with each other to provide an improved service for clients/customers.
