Description

BEHAVIOUR MANAGEMENT: A FOUR WAY APPROACH

If your pupils or students are giving you a real cause for concern, you need to tackle the behaviours from a number of angles. It's not enough to just read the textbooks on behaviour management, there are some simple strategies you can use in the classroom IMMEDIATELY. Our previous delegates have told us they've had fantastic success when they've tried our approaches.

What you will learn:

  • Assertiveness
  • How to deal with students positively
  • Making "reasonable adjustment" for BESD/SEMH
  • Understand the different facets and complexities of learners with BESD/SEMH
  • Recognise the difference between behaviour you dislike and behaviour which stops learning
  • Engage the disengaged
  • Investigate many calm classroom techniques to manage low level disruptions

It includes pedagogical approaches to planning for disengaged students and an insight into common behaviour disorders. Have a look at the full programme of events here
