Course Tutor: Carole Burman
Carole has been working in HR for over 25 years and is Managing Director of MAD-HR Ltd, an outsourced HR service provider. MAD-HR is all about providing commercial HR solutions that really make a difference to the bottom line of their clients.
Carole is passionate about HR and about helping employers get the best out of their people. Before starting MAD-HR Ltd, Carole was HR Director for Marshall Motor Group and with the management team transformed the performance of the family business and, as a result, the business experienced significant (400%) growth since 2008.
It grew from an underlying £250m in sales to just under £1bn in 5 years and became a major top 10 UK motor retail group with over 70 retail centres and 2,200 colleagues (at its peak). In addition it was recognised as a Top 75 employer in their Great Place to Work league and received several accolades including "Dealer Group of the Year" and being shortlisted for "Employer of the Year".
