BIM Regions West Midlands

In 2012 The Construction Industry Council, in partnership with the BIM Task Group, launched 11 Regional BIM hubs in order to raise awareness about the benefits of BIM and to facilitate the early adoption of BIM processes and working methods throughout the construction industry.

BIM Regions West Midands (formerly the West Midlands BIM Hub) was primarily set up to enable regional engagement in national discussions and act as a conduit relevant information on the programme to ensure a consistent and contextualised message is disseminated, providing valuable feedback to both the CIC and the BIM Task Group.  Through seminars and workshops with guest speakers and industry experts, the group encourages the sharing of BIM knowledge and best practice within the network and facilitates regional collaborative activity to support the development of the supply chain’s BIM capabilities.
