Focusing on key considerations for putting on a quality live show, topics include: sound, lighting, audience interaction, avoiding classic mistakes, stage arrangement and how emerging acts can make the best of support slots in large venues.
Aimed at musicians, managers and everyone working in the live sector, it will also provide tips for how to best broach sensitive aspects of a performance.

Born To Be Wide is a Community Interest Company, based in central Scotland, which stages music business seminars, showcases and bespoke talks for other events and organisations.
Since April 2008 it has hosted social evenings which begin with a discussion panel featuring key figures from the music industry. Subjects covered include:
Releasing Music, Promoting Gigs, A&R, Music Festivals, Music PR, Record Sleeve Design, Radio, Music Photography, Music Management, Booking Agents and Stage Craft, as well as a Norwegian night and a German special.
Born To Be Wide hosts Wide Days, an annual two-day convention and showcase, which takes place in Edinburgh in April, and in 2013 the company launched the Off The Record series of daytime youth events. Its annual Edinburgh Night, provides a snapshot of Scottish talent gigging during the Fringe, with ten acts performing ten-minute sets.
