With the planned introduction of Gender Pay Gap Reporting in April 2017, the issue of Equal Pay will become increasingly under the public spotlight.  Although only applicable to employers with 250 or more employees, the impact of this legislation is likely to affect employers of all sizes, as greater media attention and public scrutiny will lead to many employees asking the question:  “does my employer pay men and women equally?”.   This practical and light-hearted case study based session aims to provide an overview of this complex area of law, highlighting common pitfalls, and steps employers can take now to protect themselves and deal effectively with issues when they arise.

This session will be interactive and fun environment which illustrates the key legal issues in a relevant way.
