We are delighted to announce that tickets are now available for our
What does the future hold?
on Wednesday 6th March 2013
at the Greenway Centre, Southmead
What does the future hold? is the annual participation event for Bristol Parent Carers and associated professionals.
- Help identify the key issues that bother parent carers and how they might improve.
- Find out how parent carers and service providers can work together to make this happen.
- Hear about the service improvements that participation has brought about over the last year
- There will be presentations and stalls.
This year we are looking at 'Personalisation' and how it will effect you. We will be learning of service improvements, person centred planning, and personal budgets. It is also a great opportunity to share our oppinions with the council and NHS Bristol and help steer the direction of change.
There will be a selection of presentations and discussion groups to take part in, therapy treatments for that bit of relaxation, the chance to talk to other parents facing similar issues and professionals providing services and the opportunity to enjoy a nice lunch all while helping shape the future.
We are delighted to be holding this years event at The Greenway Centre , a bustling community centre in the heart of Southmead.

How do I get to the Greenway Centre?
The Greenway Centre is situated in Doncaster Road, Southmead, Bristol, just off the B4056 and not far from Southmead Hospital.
If you are driving there is a car park with a limited number of disabled spaces at the front of the building. Should you require a disabled space, please let us know and we will do our best to reserve one - although this cannot be gaurenteed. As there are lots of other events at the Greenway Centre on the 6th, you may find that the car park is quite full, so if you are able to car share it would be helpful. If the car park is full please park on Doncaster Road.
If travelling by bus, the 18 and 76 stop near by.
Travel expenses will be reimbursed so please bring all relevant receipts with you on the day.
If you have any queries please call the team on 0117 9375623
