Gareth has over 30 years’ experience in risk management related roles specialising in corporate level crisis management and resilience. This presentation will examine some of the core concepts concerning organisational resilience and the perceived need for this attribute.
10.00 – 10.30 am Paperless Continuity Management- John Frost, Marks & Spencer
John will cover the transformation of the Marks & Spencer Business Continuity Programme from a document heavy programme to a fully paperless Corporate Resilience solution that is adding everyday value to the business and offering tangible savings of circa £8m-£10m a year to the bottom line

11.00 – 11.30 am Designing & delivering a user friendly BC system – Catherine Braun, Environment Agency
Catherine joined the Environment Agency’s Business Continuity Team in 2011, having worked previously in communications and government relations. This will be a case study in the successful introduction and testing of a centralised solution for BCM across the organisation.
11:30 am – Noon BC Question Time
Due to popular demand this slot will be taken up with a range of BC questions put to the panel of experts with discussion opened up to the floor for all delegates to contribute.
Noon onwards Facility tour, supplier exhibition, networking
1pm - Optional workshop: Data visualisations to win and defend your BC Budget.
This will be a highly engaging exercise run by Matt Hedges-Long, of Continuity Partnership to visualise the ‘real world’ risk profile of an organisation based on both its Industry Sector and Geographical Locations to create a compelling justification for Business Continuity investment.
