Cardiff Digital Week - The Digital Education Revolution: The Challenges & Opportunities

All Central South Consortium Schools are invited to attend Cardiff Digital Week on Monday 24th June (jointly hosted by The Big Learning Company and LiNKS) - this is a FREE event that teachers and pupils can attend to hear a variety of speakers and take part in various hands on workshops.
For practioneers there will be a series of discussions focusing on the challenges and opportunities of using digital technologies in schools, how are our schools already using new technologies? How to use and create content on HWB among other themes.

10.15 - 11.30 - Introduction to HWB+ and Learning in Digital Wales
11.30 - 12.00 - Creating content for HWB+ with S4C
12.00 - 12.45 - Lunch
12.45 - 13.45 - Schools presentations
13.45 - 14.45 - David Reynolds Keynote
14.45 - 15.00 - Plenary with showcase of work young people have created during the day
For learners, sessions will include:
App maker: Design, plan and present creative App and Game ideas.
iMovie: Work with a regional training centre to explore making iMovie projects.
How to make a digital school magazine using animation, photography and other digital mediums.
Explore new technologies and software like Raspberry Pis, scratch and picoboards.
Registration on the day
