Expand the international outlook of your school through Erasmus+ and eTwinning

Come along to this free twilight information session and discover how the European Union’s Erasmus+ and eTwinning programmes benefit teachers, other school staff, your pupils and your school.

Through providing free CPD for teachers, links with other European schools, or funding to support school project visits to other European countries, the programmes can help to revitalise your teaching and support curricular objectives.

Why should I attend?

98% of school staff who took part in Erasmus+ would recommend it to a colleague, for learning good practice from abroad, introducing new teaching methods, increased job satisfaction and enhanced career opportunities, after just a week training abroad. 91% of teachers think eTwinning had a positive impact on how they teach skills such as team work, creativity and problem solving.

This event is designed for staff from schools with no previous experience of eTwinning or Erasmus+.

At the event you can:

·      gain an overview of the Erasmus+ and eTwinning programmes and what they can mean for you and your school;

·      learn how the two programmes can assist your school in fulfilling government education priorities, an improvement plan or an education inspection

·      discover next steps and support available to help your school with its European international work; and

·      find out how to get involved or apply for funding.

Start your journey on gaining valuable skills and international experience for you, your pupils and your school; and join the 77% of school education applicants who were successful in applying for almost €3m in European Union Erasmus+ grants in 2015.
