Cardiff Raspberry Jam
Sunday, 15 July 2012 from 11:30 to 13:00
Cardiff, United Kingdom
Raspberry Pi is a formidable, credit-card sized computer that plugs into your TV and a keyboard. It’s a capable little PC which can be used for many of the things that your desktop PC does, like spreadsheets, word-processing and games. It also plays high-definition video. It is intended that people all over the world will use it to learn programming.
Raspberry Jam is a rapidly growing network of local user groups that meet regularly to support hobbyists, developers, teachers, students, children and families – in fact anybody that would like to put their Raspberry Pi to good use.
You do not need to have a Raspberry Pi to come to a meeting. In fact, not having a Raspberry Pi is an excellent motive for coming along. You will discover what you can do with a Raspberry Pi when you do manage to get hold of one.
Raspberry Jam is not endorsed, sponsored or associated with Raspberry Pi or Raspberry Pi products or services.
This Raspberry Jam is being held at the Cardiff Science Festival in the Urdd building in Cardiff Bay. We're aiming for an informal gathering of people interested in knowing more about the Raspberry Pi. We have a projector set up so if you already have a Raspberry Pi and want to show of what you have been doing with it, please sign up as a speaker and we'll make sure you have a slot! Otherwise, turn up and chat to others about their plans.
