Catalyst Arts: fundraising and match funding workshops
Date: Monday 12 Dec
Cannon Hill Park
Times: 9.00am - 4.30pm
These workshops will support arts organisations keen to plan a step change in their existing fundraising and match funding activities. They will run in six locations between November and December 2011 and will feature a range of renowned national speakers and those drawn from exemplary regional and local fundraising organisations.
Participants will be required to share their knowledge and experience, working collaboratively to identify creative new opportunities for fundraising.
Discussions will centre on the latest trends and issues around giving, including:
• digital giving
• crowd sourcing
• venture philanthropy
• flash giving
• spirited fundraising
• major donors
Further activities will interrogate ways of implementing change within organisations to equip them for embedding fundraising as core to their mission and purpose and will challenge participants around their current donor care principles and practice.
Participants will be encouraged to identify new opportunities for fundraising within their organisations and strategies for embedding good fundraising practice within their long-term planning. They will also be asked to share new ideas for working collaboratively with others to achieve success.
