Chartered Give & Take | London | 10 November
How often have you been to a seminar where all you did was listen and the only action you took was to mark it up on your CPD log? Too often? Was that an effective use of time?
Join us on Thursday 10th November for the second
Chartered Give & Take
from 5.30pm - 6.30pm at the Chartered Insurance Institute, 20 Aldermanbury, EC2V 7HY. Registration is from 5.00pm.
We want Chartered Financial Planners to engage more with each other, share ideas and collectively raise the bar. At this forum there are THREE basic rules:
- ‘Bring’ You come along to the forum with something that you are happy to share with the rest of the group. This might be a tried and tested way of getting referrals; it might be a mistake you have made that you would not want others to make; or it might even be a mobile app that you have found really useful.
- ‘Take’ This is something that you want to come away from the forum with, e.g. you might have a current client issue that needs resolving; you might not offer a particular service but might be interested in knowing who in the group is a subject matter expert; or you might be offering a service in a certain way but want reassurance that this works for others, too.
- ‘Act’ All too often, notes are made during a seminar but the papers get buried and no real action is taken. Let’s commit to doing something about it.
As you already know, the CII/Personal Finance Society strapline is ‘Standards – Professionalism – Trust’. We would like to address each of these in turn, as well as what leads to creating a deeper client relationship.
We look forward to seeing you there (over a glass of wine).
