What is the Health and Safety Awareness course?
The course gives delegates an awareness of health and safety and how it affects their daily role. It can be used as preparation training for the CITB Health, safety and environment test. This course is the first step towards a CSCS Labourers Card (Green Card) and to the progressive CITB Site Safety Plus suite of courses that range from training for operatives into the industry up to senior manager / director.

- Health and Safety-Law, Policy & permits
- Health and Safety-Accidents
- Introduction to Health and Safety Welfare
- Health and Safety-Manual handling
- Health & Safety working at heights
- Health and Safety- First Aid and Emergency procedures
- Health and Safety- Hazardous Substances
- Health & Safety- Hand held tools, Equipment and Electrical Safety
- Health and Safety- Noise
- Health and Safety: Site Transport Safety.
At the end of the course students will take a multiple choice test lasting 30 minutes.
