Testimonies of people who have already experienced the City of London walk:
"Thoroughly enjoyed both walks - well researched, relaxed, insightful and a great eye opener to London's hidden Muslim history. The guide was impeccably professional (even in rain!) and knowledgeable and I would highly recommend both walks."
Lawyer, City of London.
"We asked 'Islamic History of Britain' to organise their muslim history walk as a networking event for our professional membership followed by a group dinner at a restaurant. The attendees loved the informed walk and discussion - a great way to network and discover Muslim History in London. The organiser and guide ensured that historical references were in a fun context and kept everyone engaged. This was followed by a great meal and further discussion on our new found knowledge. We highly recommend this for others to attend."
Jamshaid Anwar, Head of The Connections Group (TCG)
"It was excellent mashallah, hihghly recommend to all. The evening was very informative. Provided a great insight in a practical fun 'walk n talk', which was sociable, giving a chance to meet new people and scope for photography along the way!"

"The City of London Muslim History Walk was an excellent experience having worked in the City for many years I never realised how much Islamic history there was in the City an Abdul gave us a great insight. I Would definitely recommend the Walk to all.
Asif Sadiq, City of London Police, President of NAMP.
"I had never been on a walk before and therefore had no idea what to expect. Going on the first City of London walk, I got to understand the significance of different historical buildings and their connections to Islam and Muslims. The attraction where we finished was truly unbelievable, to imagine that an Islamic building in the heart of the city could have existed from 100 years ago! Both walks were very educational and truly memorable! The guide was very informative and pleasant”.
