Christine K Champion:
Christine is an experienced, qualified Executive Coach and Coaching Supervisor, and is passionate about the potential for coaching as an individual and organisational development intervention. She works through collaborative partnerships with client organisations from all sectors to design and deliver coaching programmes aligned with the organisation’s key strategic objectives.
Christine’s initial career was in retail where she held senior operational and trading roles with Marks and Spencer. She then went on to co-found a privately owned, entrepreneurial, niche international seafood business operating across global seafood markets. She founded city based acumen executive coaching ltd in 2003 and is proud to be a member of the academic faculty within the Faculty of Business at Oxford Brookes University, where she pioneered and led the launch of the International Centre for Coaching & Leadership Development.
Christine holds an MBA from Henley Management College, Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing and a number of post graduate coaching and supervision qualifications.
Sarah is HR Manager at Oxford Nanopore Technologies Ltd. Oxford Nanopore Technologies Ltd is developing a disruptive, proprietary technology platform for the direct, electronic analysis of single molecules. The instruments MinION™, PromethION™ and GridION™ are adaptable for the analysis of DNA, RNA, proteins, small molecules and other types of molecule. Consequently, the platform has a broad range of potential applications, including scientific research, personalised medicine, crop science and security/defence.
Sarah joined ONT in 2013 (following a period of consultancy) at a time where the Company was experiencing significant growth in terms of people and the commercialisation of its technology. She was responsible for the management and delivery of the rapid growth of the workforce enabling the acquisition of the right talent/skillset at the right time within key technical areas of the business.
Sarah is an experienced HR professional and has enjoyed a successful career for more than 15 years’ within various roles, both national and globally, within the automotive, medical device and biotechnology industries.
Sarah’s HR career started as a Business Apprentice working for global car manufacturer Rover / BMW where she achieved a key operational HR role at the Oxford site. She went on to progress her career at Abbott Diabetes Care (part of global company Abbott Laboratories) where she held a number of positions including HR Commercial Manager (Europe, Middle East and Africa/Canada) and HR Manager for a UK operational site. Sarah played an instrumental role in the design and implementation of the transformational change program for the ADC UK business.
Sarah is a Chartered Member of the CIPD. She holds a BA Honors Degree in Business Studies and Human Resource Management and Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management.

Thames Valley Branch is one of the largest CIPD branches in the country with over 4,300 members across Oxfordshire, Berkshire and North Hampshire.
