Description

Develop your understanding of filter and aeropress coffee with one of the country's leading experts

To get the best out of the gourmet coffee explosion, you need to be able to appreciate the difference between a good brew and a great one. Under the expert tutelage of leading coffee buyer and UK Barista Championship judge Will Corby, you’ll learn how to source, brew and savour the perfect cup of coffee for your individual tastes.

This entertaining evening explains the principal types of bean, including where and how they’re grown, after which you’ll enjoy first-hand experience of the effects these variables have on the taste and texture of a cup in a gourmet tasting session. You’ll learn about the pros and cons of different brewing methods from cafetiere to aeropress, and how to get the grind and flavour for each of them. Whether you’re a recent convert to the bean or a committed java scenester, this fun evening will help you to train your palette and teach you how to make better brews at home.
