Following the huge success of our previous commando abseils, Take The Leap is back again for 2016.
Take The Leap is no ordinary abseil. It is a unique opportunity to abseil with support and encouragement from the Royal Marines.
On 5th June 2016, whilst everyone else is doing their shopping or cleaning their car – you’ll have spent your Sunday abseiling the 150ft Titan Crane above the banks of the River Clyde. That is something to brag about!
The afternoon starts with a briefing and training followed by abseiling and loads of photos and video you can share with your friends and family to show them just what you have achieved.
All equipment and training you need for the day is provided – you just need to turn up and take the step off the edge!
Entry also includes a Commando Spirit t-shirt and refreshments during training.
We ask that you show your spirit, show your courage and show you care. As well as the entry fee we ask everyone to endeavour to raise funds for the Commando Spirit Appeal for those in need. We ask that you raise a minimum of £150. You can set your stretch target higher than that but don’t worry, whilst most people achieve and surpass this, we don’t send the boys round if you don’t reach this and you can carry on fundraising for three months after the event. We give you loads of help and support with your fundraising efforts!
So what are you waiting for, sign up now!
