Event Details

If you are a new member, getting to know your Council, it's role, the Clerk and of course the relationship between your Local Council and the Principal Authorities can seem a little confusing at first. Even experienced members will agree that a refresh or reminder cannot be underestimated.

This session should provide Councillors with the headstart they need and knowledge to begin the task of representing their communities

 You will:

- Hear about the roles and responsibilities of Parish Councillors

- Hear about the role of The Chairman

- Hear about the role of the Clerk

- Understand the Local Government structure and how Local Councils fit in

Plus there will be ample time for questions and positive interaction!

Registration from 09.00 HRS.
