A chance to visit the newly completed award-winning Courtyard House in Forest Gate.

Architect led tours are every half hour. Entry is strictly ticket only with limited availability at a maximum of four tickets per booking. Admission is free. If you are unable to attend after having booked please let us know so we are able to make the tickets available for others.

Here's a bit more information about Courtyard House:

Four courtyards provide the main source of daylight to this two-bedroom house built on a brownfield site in Forest Gate. Formally a builder’s yard on a road of terraced houses, this infill project sought to create a discreet, sustainable home that didn’t diminish its neighbour’s daylight. Only the master bedroom protrudes above the surrounding walls, whilst a split level and sloping joists bring variety to the open plan ground floor. Materials used recall the industrial past of the site; black profiled cement sheets to the first floor and roofs, blue brick to exposed walls and white render to the lightwell.
