BCS Coventry, in conjunction with the IET and IMA present this years Christmas Lecture:
How to Amaze Your Friends

In this talk Professor Chris Budd looks at the maths of networks, mazes, the internet, Facebook and organised crime. Santa will be especially interested when we look at issues to do with presents etc. Sounds intriguing?
This event is free to attend, but booking is essential.
The lecture is on the 12th of December at Coventry University. The lecture starts at 19.00, with refreshments available from 18.30. After the lecture there will be a buffet.

This event is hosted by Coventry University in their new Engineering and Computing Building, which lies between Gosford Street and Gulson Road. It has a hexagonal facade and can be found between the Lanchester Library (turretted building) and the Student Centre (curved blue roof).
The nearest public car park is the Gosford Street Long Stay car park, under the raised ring road. The EC Building location is shown on Google maps here.
Guests attending the Christmas Lecture may park for free after 18:00 on Wednesday 12th December in the Coventry University Student car park which is accessed from Gulson Road, just next to the new EC Building. [This is where the Gulson Road Hospital used to be]. From the car park walk anticlockwise around the building until you find the entrance to the courtyard. The main entrance to the building is the rotating door diagonally opposite. Refreshments will be served from 18:30 in room EC 1-29 and the lecture will being at 19:00 in the lecture theatre directly below this room, ECG-24. A light buffet supper will be available after the lecture in EC 1-29.
