This masterclass will teach you how to create presentations that pack a punch. Seasoned presenter and entrepreneur Aadeel Peerally will guide you through the key stages of of crafting a presentation for business, ensuring that your audience is engaged from start to finish.
To deliver a convincing presentation, you need to know your content inside out. Aadeel will kick off by teaching you how to really understand your content and audience, before giving advice on key elements such as structure, layout and delivery. You’ll learn how to collate information and images into a compelling narrative, as well as storytelling techniques that will keep your audience captivated. You’ll also learn how to address a particular audience – from stakeholders, to staff and potential investors – and make sure that their needs are met.
The course mixes talks on the theory behind great presentations with exercises to reinforce learning. You’ll get involved in a practical session where you create the outline for your presentation, and have the opportunity to present to the group for feedback. Whether you use PowerPoint, Prezi or any other presentation tool, Aadeel’s advice and infectious enthusiasm will ensure that you leave the class ready to deliver presentations that are clear, entertaining and effective.

Course description
This interactive masterclass covers the key stages of creating an engaging and effective business presentation. Attendees will get involved in practical exercises based on presentations they would like to give, and have the opportunity to present to the group for feedback. Topics covered include:
- Understanding your audience – what are their objectives, concerns, values and motivations?
- Understanding your content – what are your key points and how do you present them clearly?
- How to gather relevant information
- Tips on content layout
- How to tell a story in a presentation
- Delivering an effective conclusion and punchline
- Practical exercise: create an outline for a presentation you want to deliver
- Practical exercise: attendees have the opportunity to deliver short presentations to the group, with feedback from the tutor
- Q&A and group discussion

Tutor biography
Aadeel Peerally is head of operations at WeSwap and co-founder of peer-to-peer dining platform Try My Kitchen. Before that, he worked for several years as head of customer service at the Guardian. Aadeel has worked extensively within the operations and customer experience fields, across industries including travel, media, food and financial technology. He has over 10 years’ experience creating and delivering business presentations aimed at all levels of audiences, from junior staff members to CEOs, board of investors as well as at larger conferences and seminars.
