Creating Inspiring Digital Content


This workshop will equip small charities with the know-how to create great digital content that engages their target audience, as well as how to measure success. Kirsty will share case studies and practical tips on how to maximise your online presence through using the most effective channels.

In this session you will learn:

  • Your charity’s 'Why' and why it’s important for content.
  • What makes great content? Case studies and tips.
  • The power of one.Content tips for social media.
  • Tools for content design.
  • How to measure success.

This workshop is pitched at beginner to intermediate level.


At the end of Kirsty's workshop you are welcome to stay for a light lunch that will kindly be provided by our friends at Frazer Jones.


Trainer Bio: Kirsty Marrins
Kirsty is a freelance digital communications expert who specialises in social media, digital marketing and copywriting. She is a TPMA accredited Trainer and a graduate of Google's Digital Marketing course, Squared Online, as well as being a Trustee of Small Charities Coalition!

She also works as a columnist for Third Sector's Digital Hub and regularly writes for the Guardian's Voluntary Sector Network and other sector publications.

Past and present clients include: Breast Cancer Care, Canterbury Christchurch University, The Resource Alliance, Teenage Cancer Trust, Cancer Research UK, Turner PR, CFA Institute, Platypus Digital and Media Trust.


We ask that all attendees arrive 15 minutes before the workshop starts to allow for registration and ensure a timely start and the smooth running of the workshop.

You must be a member of Small Charities Coalition in order to attend this workshop. If you aren't already you can register for free here.

If the places have all been filled please do add your details to the waitlist and we will let you know as soon as a place becomes available.

Cancellations and Refunds:
If you cancel your place at least 2 full working days before the event takes place then you are entitled to a full refund by request. Refunds for cancellations after this point are given at the discretion of Small Charities Coalition.
If you cannot make a workshop please advise us as soon as possible. Workshops normally have a waitlist and if you notify us early enough then there's a good chance another charity can attend in your place.
