Creative Exchange Wales Network - Innovation Showcase event

Showcasing the best in AHRC creative work in Wales.

The event will highlight activities of CEWN and the AHRC’s Knowledge Exchange Hubs, with a focus on impact in Wales. CEWN and the KE hubs bring together academic expertise with creative businesses and organisations in order to create innovative ideas, projects and products.  The showcase will highlight innovation from CEWN, AHRC KE hubs and CEKE projects. The day will involve discussions and presentations from Creative Industry experts, as well as an exhibition over lunch.

10.30-11.00 Introduction

11.00-12.00  Knowledge Exchange and Innovation – what have we learned so far? (speakers to include Prof Hamish Fyfe (CEWN), Prof Jon Dovey (REACT), Beatrice Rogers (CI KTN), Robert Keegan (AHRC))

12.00- 1.30 Lunch and exhibitions

1.30-2.30 Where next for the Creative Industries? (speakers to include Prof Ian Hargreaves, Prof Gillian Youngs, Iain Tweedale).

2.30- 2.40 Welsh Government Business support

2.30- 3.00 Plenary
