Learn how to structure a narrative, create characters, write dialogue and cure writers' block for good

Your novel is doomed without an original narrative, compelling characters and believable dialogue. MJ Hyland, author of the multi-award-winning How the Light Gets In and Man Booker Prize-nominated Carry Me Down, famously excels at all three. During this exciting two-day workshop, the accomplished author and lecturer teaches the foundations of a powerful story: how to begin, how to structure a strong narrative, how to create characters, how to write credible dialogue, and how to permanently cure writers' block.

This course will also cover the most important aspect of writing – fixing problems. Over two days, you will learn how to to edit and revise; improve story, character and structure, and received personal instruction and feedback from MJ Hyland. If you're serious about writing, you won't want to miss this rare opportunity to receive practical help with your work from a celebrated novelist.
