Crowdfunding for Small Charities
This workshop will equip small charities with the knowledge and practical skills to maximise their online fundraising efforts.
This workshop will cover:
- How to benefit from crowdfunding and online fundraising.
- Pitching your fundraising project to an online audience.
- Identifying who is in your crowd and how to utilise your netowork for crowdfunding.
- Building your knowledge of digital communications for fundraising including social media.
- Planning how to use your new found skills in practice after the workshop
This workshop is suitable for all levels.
Trainer Bio: Jess bailey
Jess is a crowdfunding trainer specializing in creative content and strategy ideas. She has ran workshops throughout the UK to charities and social enterprises on behalf of GlobalGiving UK.
She works at GlobalGiving UK as a marketing and communications specialist where she organises and runs crowdfunding workshops. She specializes in creative content and strategy ideas and helps charities and social enterprises across the world come up with creative campaign strategies.
We ask that all attendees arrive 15 minutes before the workshop starts to allow for registration and ensure a timely start and the smooth running of the workshop.
If the places have all been filled please do add your details to the waitlist and we will let you know as soon as a place becomes available.
Cancellations and Refunds:
If you cancel your place at least 2 full working days before the event takes place then you are entitled to a full refund by request. Refunds for cancellations after this point are given at the discretion of Small Charities Coalition.
If you cannot make a workshop please advise us as soon as possible. Workshops normally have a waitlist and if you notify us early enough then there's a good chance another charity can attend in your place.
