Curry and Coding!
Wednesday, 4 June 2014 from 12:00 to 14:00 (GMT)
Manchester, United Kingdom
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
Come and join MadLab and Woman Care for our second Curry and Coding event. Get a better understanding of how computers work and how you can make them work for you. Even if you don’t want to become a professional programmer, having an idea of how computer programs work and being able to script small tasks can come in handy in your everyday life. Plus, programming is known to improve your strategic thinking and structuring abilities! Learn all this whilst eating a delicious curry in the company of new friends. What better way to learn new skills?
This event is primarily aimed at women and girls, but men are very welcome to attend. Curry and Coding is free (there IS such a thing as a free lunch!) but numbers are limited.
Please bring a laptop computer if you have one.

MadLab (Manchester Digital Laboratory)
MadLab is a community space for people who want to do and make interesting stuff - a place for geeks, artists, designers, illustrators, hackers, tinkerers, innovators and idle dreamers; an autonomous R&D laboratory and a release valve for Manchester's creative communities.
