This course is to help managers of volunteers, be they paid or volunteers themselves, to reflect on some of the things that hold us back when it comes to managing volunteers and to develop the confidence and skills to address poor performance.
By the end of this workshop you will have developed a range of strategies to deal with poor performance in your volunteers and assessed your own ability to do so. The session covers:
Setting up volunteering so that it reduces the risk of poor performance
Identifying poor performance
Addressing poor performance
