Are you a patient, health care professional, carer or relative of someone living with dementia?
This event raises awareness of the disease and the support available by encouraging open discussions and the sharing of personal experiences.
Through a varied programme, including keynote speeches from people currently living with dementia, carers, and experts in the field, this event will enable you to:
- manage the challenges and transitions through the dementia care pathway
- gain an understanding of the support that we provide and what is available within the local community, and understand the value of support
- share experiences
- network and access support through group and 1:1 discussions
- attend a 1:1 Admiral Nurse Clinic, upon request (register on the day)
- take part in a virtual dementia tour (limited places, allocated on the day)
- support inclusion and diversity
- develop professionally and personally - delegates will be given a certificate of attendance to support CPD

Health care professionals in acute and primary care, patients, carers and family members.
Keynote speakers
Tommy's mission is to raise awareness of dementia through his own experiences as a carer for his Mother, who suffers from vascular dementia.
Chris was diagnosed with young onset vascular dementia and Alzheimer's disease in his early 50s. He shares his experiences of living with dementia.
Karen Harrison Dening
Karen is Head of Research and Evaluation at Dementia UK, and is a specialist in end of life care.
