If an image is worth 1000 words, then perhaps a model is worth 1000 images?
Design Engineer Jude Pullen has had to make numerous technical models to prove innovative concepts to himself - and others, throughout his 4 years in industry. However, as an enthusiast, he felt it would be exciting to share a few trade-secrets. Firstly through his blog judepullen.com/DesignModelling and also through workshops in London and Berlin - and of course at Brighton Mini Maker Faire!
Jude will be demonstrating some of his award-winning projects on Saturday and will also be running 2 exclusive 2-hour workshops on Sunday - invaluable learning for any design students (needing to show 'process'!) or creatives looking to help express and explore their ideas in physical form. You will learn techniques that are quick and safe, working with affordable materials (which could also be an excellent precursor to any CAD and 3D printing) - to make awesome cardboard prototypes!
See Jude in action in this video from our friends at Sugru.
