Description

Business planning is critical for many growing voluntary organisations or for the planning community buildings or their redevelopment, to ensure they achieve their objectives and targets. This workshop provides a thorough grounding in how to create, measure and implement a business plan. Delegates will address the key strategic, planning and budgetary issues for implementing a successful business plan.

Course Objectives

  • Identify the key steps of the business planning process.
  • Devise, evaluate and implement a successful business plan.
  • Develop key indicators to track progress versus the plan.
  • Manage the budgetary aspects of a business plan.
  • Decide how to review and revise the business plan.

Support Cambridgeshire is a project, funded by Cambridgeshire County Council bringing together three partner organisations who will work together to support community groups and organisations across Cambridgeshire.

Hunts Forum will lead the partnership, supported by Cambridge Council for Voluntary Services (CCVS) and Cambridgeshire ACRE. Each of the partner organisations will serve as expert sources of advice and guidance. Support Cambridgeshire will deliver better outcomes for local organisations across the county, with the expectation of a stronger and more vibrant voluntary and community sector.
