Speaker: Professor Yanghe and Zhangfang - Peking University

Peking University is the oldest university in China, it was born in the late Qing Dynasty and firstly served as an official school in its early years. In the past 120 years, Peking University had developed from an old administrative school to be a brand-new, first rate academic university renowned both in China and the world. Right now, Peking University has undergoing drastic changes in its administration and academics. In the future, Peking University will have to be one socialist university which embodies both political and academic missions.
