Building effective relationships using social media

This half day seminar offers a new approach to using social media and the internet to build meaningful relationships with students, employers, funders and businesses. In a new era of online communication you will define a strategic vision for your institution’s digital footprint and identify free resources and tools that can help you achieve this goal. Your workshop facilitator will provide relevant case studies and offer expert advice.

Seminar host:

Dr. Abhay Adhikari


Abhay develops digital engagement strategies for the arts, culture and education sectors. He has worked on a range of global web based projects with private, public and voluntary sector organizations including BBC World Service Trust, British Council and Zubaan. He has hosted Social Media Surgeries in both the UK and India, and has developed undergraduate enterprise development programmes for institutions such as the University of York. Abhay recently spoke at TEDxYork.
