UKGov stats show that Digital (Cyber) attacks on SME's has risen by over 60% based on last years statistics alone - SME's are a key focus for criminal attacks.  

"Digital Crime is a fast growing area of Crime. More and more criminals are exploiting the speed, convenience and anonymity of the internet to commit a diverse range of criminal activities that know no borders, either physical or virtual, cause serious harm and pose very real threats to victims worldwide." (Interpol)

New trends in cyber-crime are emerging all the time, costing UK businesses millions every year.

DS Alex Dawson from the Devon and Cornwall Police Digital (Cyber) Crime unit will explain the different and very latest types of fraud methods, how to recognise them and how to guard against them.

A member of the local Natwest team will also provide a perspective from the Banking sector. The methods of crime we are seeing and how you can protect your business.
